Educational programmes

The Commission supports the development of quality financial education resources for use in schools and adult learning environments.

Financial capability is a core life skill for participating in modern society and economic life, for individuals to be equipped and empowered to take charge of their lives and build a more secure – wealthier – future for themselves and their families. Education can make a difference, and ideally start as early as possible from the beginning of formal schooling (OECD, 2012).
