Catch up on videos from the CFFC Summit 2015Posted to Financial Capability on 30-07-2015
Three hundred people attended our Financial Capability Summit and heard experts discussing the challenges facing New Zealand and the importance of working together to improve the wellbeing of all of us.
For those of you who were unable to attend, we have a series of videos from the event, which we will be releasing over the coming fortnight.
A philosophical panel, which featured economist Shamubeel Eaqub, internationally-respected consumer financial affairs expert Elaine Kempson, Australia’s Miles Larbey of ASIC, and Blair Vernon of AMP.
They debated whose fault it is when things go wrong: the consumer, the government, the financial services providers or the economic cycle.
We also have two ‘In the Chair’ interviews by TV business journalist Michael Wilson.
He put the spotlight on National MP Alfred Ngaro, who knows all about working alongside people, parents in particular, to change behaviour and see how things can be done differently.
Michael also quizzed Rob Everett, the CEO of the Financial Markets Authority, about the efforts being made to raise trust and confidence in our financial markets.
Watch out for the next instalment of videos.
